Shipping policy

Dr. Helga Nagy ships worldwide.
To ensure the highest quality, safety, and the most efficient delivery for every collector, we utilize a smart dual fulfillment strategy:

  • Original Artworks: Shipped directly from the artist’s studio in Budakeszi, Hungary (EU).

  • Fine Art Prints: Fulfilled by our specialist fine art printing partner, The Printspace. We utilize their global network to ensure fast, customs-free delivery to major regions:

    • EU Orders: Printed and shipped from Germany (No customs fees).

    • UK Orders: Printed and shipped from London.

    • USA & Rest of World: Shipped from the most optimal location to ensure speed and safety.

1. Processing Time
Please allow time for us to prepare your order with the utmost care.

  • Original Paintings: 3-5 business days. We ensure the artwork is perfectly conditioned and securely packed in our studio before dispatch.

  • Fine Art Prints: 2-5 business days. Prints are created to order, inspected for museum-quality standards, and dispatched immediately.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight and destination.

  • Europe: Estimated delivery: 3-7 business days.

  • USA / Canada: Estimated delivery: 5-10 business days.

  • Rest of the World: Estimated delivery: 7-14 business days.

We use trusted international carriers (such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, or Royal Mail for prints) to ensure reliable delivery. You will receive a shipment confirmation email containing your tracking number(s) once your order has shipped.

3. Packaging
We guarantee professional, gallery-standard packaging to ensure your artwork arrives in perfect condition.

  • Originals (from Hungary): Rigid paintings are shipped flat in sturdy, multi-layered protective boxes. Works on paper are shipped in extra-strong tubes.

  • Prints (from Partner): Shipped in crush-resistant reinforced tubes or flat packaging, ensuring they remain protected during transit.

4. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
We strive to minimize customs issues by shipping from local hubs where possible.

  • EU Customers: NO Customs Fees. Both our Originals (shipped from Hungary) and Prints (shipped from Germany) originate within the EU. You will not be charged import duties.

  • UK Customers: NO Customs Fees on Prints (shipped from London). Import VAT may apply to Original Artworks shipped from Hungary.

  • USA & International Customers: Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country.

Dr. Helga Nagy is not responsible for these international charges if they are applied; they are the responsibility of the customer as the importer of record.

5. Insurance, Damages & Liability
All shipments are fully insured.
In accordance with consumer protection laws, we take full responsibility for the artwork until it is delivered to you. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, we will arrange a full refund or a replacement (for prints).

To help us process the insurance claim and resolve the issue efficiently, please follow these steps:

  • Inspect immediately: Please examine the condition of the package upon delivery.

  • Report damages: If you receive your order damaged, please contact us immediately (within 48 hours of receipt) at info@helganagy.com.

  • Documentation (Mandatory): Please save all packaging materials and take clear photos of the damage (both the external packaging and the artwork itself). We require these photos to validate the claim with the carrier and issue your refund.

6. Missing Packages
If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you have not received it, please check with your neighbors or building manager first. If you still cannot locate the package, please contact us at info@helganagy.com so we can investigate with the carrier.
